A couple of days ago, I was at the subway stop near where I work, and I spotted a yarn bomb! (aka knitted graffiti) I was really impressed, because it was at the top of a light pole, about 15 feet up. It must’ve taken some doing to get it there. Check it out!
Here’s another picture from slightly farther away, for scale.
I actually went to check on my little yarny friend after the hurricane, and he made it just fine! I saw one of these in Harvard Square once, but it was closer to the ground and disappeared after a couple of days. This one has been there for at least two weeks (since I noticed him.) I think he makes the train station more cheery, and I’d love to see more of these around the Boston area.
If you could put some knitted graffiti anywhere, where would it be?
